Background
Stuart Diversified Inc.'s scientists have developed a low temperature, low pressure process for upgrading heavy oil. This process eliminates CO2 emissions and the use of diluents, reduces energy and water usage and infrastructure costs, thus significantly reducing operational expenses and increased profits. Our pioneering discovery enables direct transportation from the wellhead to the refinery, bypassing conventional upgrading processes and eliminating the need for costly infrastructure. The elimination of diluents also helps address the debate over new pipeline construction. Without the diluent currently required to move the bitumen/heavy crude through the pipeline, there is an immediate 30-42% increase capacity without spending any additional time or money.
Technology
